Susan Renes
Susan L. Renes, Ph.D., is an associate professor (with tenure) at the University of Alaska Fairbanks, Fairbanks, Alaska, serving from 2007 to the present day. She received the Elders Award in 2013. Awarded by Alaska Native Elders, this honor acknowledges those whose deeds and practices promote cultural understanding and balance in all things for a better world community. She has held 21 International, 13 National, and 17 State presentations. Dr. Renes is an editorial board member of the Journal of Excellence in College Teaching, an associate editor of the Journal of Curriculum and Teaching, and a journal reviewer for Educational Research and Review. From 2013 to 2014 she was a Chancellor\'s Innovation in Technology and eLearning (CITE) Fellow and was awarded the Best Paper Award in October 2017 by the International Conference on Cognition and Exploratory Learning a Digital Age in Vilamoura, Portugal.
