Dr. Martha Peaslee Levine is Director of the Office for Professional Mental Health, Penn State College of Medicine, USA. This office provides mental health care to College of Medicine students, trainees, and faculty. She is also Associate Professor in Psychiatry and Behavioral Health at the same college. Dr. Levine attended Tulane College of Medicine and completed her psychiatric training at New York University, USA. She has spoken and written extensively about wellness, resilience, and the beneficial effects of journaling. As a psychiatrist, she recognizes the importance of trust within our relationships and the potentially devastating impact of betrayed trust. Dr. Levine gets the most professional satisfaction from seeing individuals able to more fully appreciate and discover joy in the world.
